The Pain of Knitting

So today Anna and I went up to town. For the past couple weeks when i get together with the girls, Jenna, knits her throw that she's been working on. And i have been wanting to learn how to knit, so i decided that theres no better time than the present. So i bought knitting needles and yarn(Charcoal Grey), and called my grandma up and went to her house. She started the first couple of rows for me, and i have been working on it non stop ever since. The picture above is my work from the past four hours. I didn't realize though, how much pain that the tips of my pointer fingers would be from it, and my hands have been cramping. Its just those parts of my body that i'm not used to using. Hopefully i will finish up my scarf before we start school again, because i know once school starts, i wont have time to pick it up again. I'm sure i will though. Once i finish it up, i will post my final results.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful christmas! We had a very nice christmas. I wanted to start off by congratulating my cousin keith and his wife katie... they are expecting their second!!! I also wanted to congratulate my other cousin. No names yet. I'll let them announce. :) Although I'm sure most of you know who...
My christmas gifts consisted of two this year. Usually we do three gifts from santa for each kid. Its always been this way in our house. My mom likes the idea of giving three gifts like the gifts each of the three wise men brought. This year i got a gift card, and a cross necklace. The necklace is white gold, and has real diamonds in it! I was really really excited, because i have never gotten any diamonds before!
Now that christmas is over, its time to look forward to new years! I'm going over to Jennys house for a new years party, and have no idea what to bring!! Any suggestions???

Christmas Party

What a blast! Last night was my friends christmas party. It was so nice to see everyone again. We had a lot of fun catching up. We played some pretty intense twister though. ha ha. i am so sore today from that! We played a lot of games, switched secret santa gifts, and had a lot to eat. above are a few of our most intense games between my friends David Emily and Jack. It was so hard to break them. we stopped spinning the board, and just called out complicated moves. lol.

Snow Day...

So today we had nooo school!!!!! I'm not exactly sure how much we have gotten yet, but its still falling.
Tonight i'm going to a christmas party with all of my friends. I'm excited cuz they are all home from college now. Altough one cant make it tonight, i'll still get to see her sometime over break. I've been going nuts, because i made soo many treats for the party. I made those hershey kisses on top of a pretzel, and i made frosting dipped in pretzel rods, rolled in crushed candy canes. But of course having hungry kids in the house, they felt the need to take with out asking. I threw a slipper at mark. ha ha. it did nothing but encourage him to take more. So i put them in my moms room and locked the door.
I work soo much next week. I also have to work on christmas eve, 11-7. I'm soo bummed about that. i can still make it to my uncles, but i'll be fashonably late. I hope we get out early though. We will probably leave right as we close(which is 6).

More Snow...

HAPPY ONE WEEK 'TIL CHRISTMAS!
I can't beleive its already here!!!!!
So we are under a severe weather alert. Tonight we are expecting a lot of snow. Between tonight and tomorrow they are saying 6-10 inches! It makes me happy though because we lost all of our snow on monday from rain... and now were getting it all back! I really don't want a green christmas. I have to work tonight, and it always manages to snow when i'm at work or out. Me and my luck, lol. But its not supposed to start until after midnight so i'm very thankfull for that.

SNOW

We got sooo much snow last night. I was at jessicas place, and we were just looking at some pictures. Well an hour and a half flys by and so i decided to look outside(I knew we were getting snow last night), and the roads are covered! So i decided that it was about that time. What would normally take me tenish minutes to get home, took me half an hour. The snow just kept on flying down. Than of course we had school today, and go figure, the roads were horrible. I swear they won't close school until theres a solid sheet of ice on the roads. So ya, driving to school pretty much stunk this morning. But thats okay, because Brians coming home today, and only three days until break, and only eight days until christmas, and only seventeen more school days left for me!!!!!

School School School

School was so incredibly boring today. Its ok thought, cuz i only have 19 school days left and than i am done! And only four more school days left until my nice two week long break! Can you beleive that christmas is only ten days away. I don't like it ,because that means its almost over. Tomorrow I am going to see Jessicas new place. Who knows what we will do, but i'm sure we will have a blast!

Christmas and Partys...

I had a lot of fun this weekend. I went to two partys. I got up at eight in the morning to get ready for work. Than i got off of work at two and headed straight to a friends house for a birthday party. I stayed for a few hours and from there, i headed straight to our family christmas party. We had a lot of fun there, although it was lonely. We were missing a lot of people, because four are married now, and one family lives up north, and Brian won't be home until Wednesday from Tech. But we made the best of it. Jeff and Heidi just found out that they will be home too. So thats exciting news. After the family christmas party, a bunch of us headed over to Jens house and watched a movie. I got home really late. Than today anna kurt and i went over to the mall and finished up christmas shopping for mom and dad. It was fun. I enjoy taking them out. Friday is my last day of school before break. Than we have two weeks off, so when i get back i will only have... 15 School Days Left!!!! I am soo excited to almost be done!

Hello All!

Ok. So i've always enjoyed looking at others blogs. Especially sweet Heidi's. And i was going through them all and i noticed that my old sweet friend Clare is now married and EXPECTING!!! I guess congrats are in order both ways. i was so floored when i was reading her blog! Anywho... I am almost done with high school. FINALLY! i am done in January. Hopefully i will find a job full time somewhere(preferably a hospital). And than off to college in the fall. I'm going to be an X-Ray tech.
Oh and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE! I cant beleive that is less than two weeks away. its coming up sooo fast.
Tomorrow Night Is my moms family party. Working in the morning, than to my friend kaitlyns house for her dads birthday, than to the Family Christmas Party. Have a lovely day. more posts later when i get into this more.
