Back in the Swing of Things

So once again fall is nearly upon us! And as usual, i get back in the mood to start knitting again! :) I started this scarf last night, and after im finished with this, im devoting all of my time to knitting my afghan that i started last year! So we shall see!! :)

Selah

Shes adjusting pretty well! she is definatly a daddys girl though! Always down in his office, and following him around! Shes a sweetheart though, thats for sure! And sokee and her are adjusting well to each other! Since she is overweight shes been getting two walks a day.. which is good motivation for me to take her out too! At first she had troubles sleeping at night.. but who wouldnt after they go to a strange new place? Anywho have a great day... im off to work!

Welcome to the Family!

So after saying we were going to get a new dog for YEARS... we finally did! We met her today, and her name is Selah. She is 8 years old and is super sweet! Although she is deaf, she can still distinguish what you want her to do. We officially get to bring her home on Satruday morning... Cannot wait!! :)

Vacation #1

We had such a great time in Petoskey! We always go camping every year with all the kids in our family,and cousins on our dads side... this year there was 12 of us, mostly everyone could make it! :) The weather was awesome for the most part, up until saturday evening/ through most of sunday morning.. we had rain! It was so nice having a vacation, and it makes my next one want to come asap... only one week 2 days until im bound for th U.P. with Jenny! :) Heres Some pics from the trip!

 I slipped on these stairs, and got a pretty massive bruise on my arm! No fun!

 We went and played putt putt one day, a lot of fun, but of course it got competitive!

 A super fancy ice cream parlor that we went to... They actually have one in Ann Arbor... Ill have to take the girls there sometime! :)

 We played many many games of Volleyball... And again it got competitive again... but we had a lot of fun!

Balloon Fest

Another year of the annual Balloon Fest has come and gone! Crazy how time flies by! It was a perfect evening to go. Jenny Uncle Paul and Myself spent it, walking through the art show, and then people watching. Let me tell you, if you want a huge confidence booster, just look around you at the balloon fest! ;)

Well summer is upon us! and in full swing! Its been hot hot hot these past few days... great for trips to the lake... bad if you have nothing to do! The other day i took Kurtie to my friends like house in town... he has been bugging me for the past month to take him, so he can go tubing and swimming. Well Sam and I both had the same day off, so we were like, perfect! But of course it stormed in the morning/ early afternoon. Thats where the picture comes in, the clouds looked so cool over the lake! So by about 230, the sun finally came out for the rest of the day. We took the boat out and took Kurt for his first tubing excursion! He really enjoyed it, but he definatly didnt like to go too fast! The poor kid was burnt by the end of the day, i had asked him like 5 times if he wanted sunscreen on, but nooo, he had to be tough about it and refused that "sissy" stuff! Yea he was a lobster, Hate to say it but i told you so! Well this weekend is balloon fest already! It came up on us soo fast! Were going tomorrow night, so hopefully it will be a great night!

Ready for Summer!!

I am so beyond ready for a fun summer with my best friends... Last week was just a peek as to whats coming up soon!! :) I have been working way too much and am ready to have some good ol fun! Ahhh... Bonfires... fishing... tubing... swimming... camping... kayaking... i get super excited just thinking about it!! :)
